Field Trial weekend 10-11 April 2010


Our first trial after a loooong break. We haven't been on training either, so I thought we could spend the weekend with our pointer friends and participate in the trial as well, to see how Danka performs. And guess what, she was the surprise of the day! Her search was so wide that she received the nick name "grande cerca" and her speed did not drop either. A gordon owner asked if I had a new dog :-) Still, I think it was me who was surprised the most, mainly when she even pointed twice without flushing the birds :)
It was quite cold, about 7-8 degrees and the fields were partly afloaded by ground water but Danka had the most wonderful time doing what she is best in: run run run, getting muddy and wet all over. And her performance gave me with a big smile for days. Proud mum :-)
