Competing in Slovakia - never been there
before with Danka. I showed Odin 4 times in
there, first time in 1998 still in junior
class, she was junior winner then. Then a
clubshow for gundog breeds where she went on
to win Best In Show. Third time was Eurodog
in 2003 - ending up with res.CAC. And
finally autumn 2004 when she already was a
veteran but shown in champion class under an
American lady who gave her the CACIB title
in big competition.
With these nice memories in mind, I entered
her to the special CACIB show called Grand
Prix Winner Show, held in Nitra. The judge
for the day was Mr. Leszek Siejkowski from
Poland.
For some reason I was as nervous as a
beginner already the evening before...
Arriving at the show it just got worse,
seeing the results of my friends in other
gundog breeds... As a nerv wreck entering
the ring... But winning the class! Oh,
happiness! In again for best bitch, winning
CACIB! Even more happiness
:-) Worth all that running (LOT!!!) in the
ring!
A big thank you to the organizing team in
Nitra: everything was perfect! No queuing at
the parking places, no queuing at the
entrance, nice big rings with carpets and
decoration. Excellent coffee :-) Well done!
