Champion of Champions Show, Budapest - 21.12.2008

The last show of the year, much awaited because of the judge from UK, Mr. Andrew Brace, an anatomy and movement specialist. A nice big entry for this show in Irish Setters: 10. Five from each sex. But the show should start late afternoon only.

Early afternoon there was an event organized by the Hungarian Kennel Club: president Mr. András Korózs gave a certificate of merit to all owners whose dogs won either World or European Winner title in 2008. I was invited as oldie Odin went best veteran at the Eurodog. We also received a beautiful thing made of glass.

Judging itself started several hours after the announced time and when we finally got into the ring, it was about 10 pm. Until then we could witness some strange decisions made in some breeds from the group VII. and VIII. - and then also in Irish Setters. Oh well, it is just to accept it... Danka just wouldn't care, so why should I? :-)

But we had time to visit the photo corner and produce some lovely (cheesy?) Christmas-cards.
